[Un]Docking Windows

On my Mac, they recently mentioned about how you can arrange windows by dragging them to the corners, or to the sides.

Also, if you have one window that you like to fill the screen, you can drag it to the menu bar …

… and it will enlarge itself. Pull it back down from the menu bar, and it will resume its original size.

If you find yourself moving windows around and suddenly find them resizing, now you know what's happening. If those effects annoy you, you can turn them off by opening Options, selecting 'Desktop & Dock' and maybe deselecting 'Drag window to screen edges to tile' and/or 'Drag windows to menu bar to fill screen'.

In MS Windows 11, you can drag a window to the top of the screen and a drop-down will appear that, if you are quick, will let you select how to arrange the open windows.

You can also drag windows to the edges to arrange them, and again if this is annoying, open Settings and deselect 'Snap windows'.

Another way to easily arrange windows in MS Windows is to hover over the square icon (the 'maximize window' button) at top right of an open window, and select an option for neatly arranging the windows.
